I have taught for several years in a variety of roles: as a tutor, as a lecturer in college and university, as a private/ comprehensive school teacher and a vocational trainer. Throughout this work, especially my tuition, I have been praised by students, parents and staff for my subject knowledge, building up student’s confidence, forming a strong rapport and helping students gain levels and grades much higher than expected. I was independently rated 5/5 by around 50 students and parents receiving my tuition and am often recommended to other students. I am passionate about science and maths. I have a strong degree, PhD, worked in research at Imperial College, was editor for the world’s most cited electronics journal and continue to research new fields. I am also passionate about teaching and have volunteered to teach in rural Kenya and help disadvantaged pupils in the UK.
PhD in Physics/ Electronic Engineering/ Materials, London South Bank University and Rutherford Laboratory. Followed by research associate at Imperial College.
