Q1. Is this a standalone study resource?

No. It is available to be used in conjunction with other learning resources to help students achieve their learning goals and objectives.

 

Q2. Is it possible to join as a student AND as a tutor?

Yes. However, the user would need to complete the registration process twice, once as a student and once as a tutor.

 

Q3. Are tuition providers on the site employees of "GlobalDons" or third party providers?

All tutors on the site are third party providers. Students can view their profiles and engage them for free on the Private Message (PM) system to find out more about them and verify their credentials.

Q5. How do I send a query / request for assistance / user feedback? 

All queries, requests for assistance and user feedback can be communicated via the Contact Us page. User Feedback may also be provided through the site forum under the section related to "GlobalDons Community." 

 

Q6. Another user sent me offensive content / behaved rudely towards me. What can I do? 

You should cancel and exit the tutorial immediately. You can then report the offending user to the site administrator. You can also block the user from contacting you. 

 

Q7. What tool(s) are used to deliver tutorials? 

Tutorials are delivered through our live virtual classroom. A free Private Message (PM) tool exists but it's purpose is to allow students and tutors to discuss and manage administrative issues around their tutorial requirements.

 

Q8. I am a student. How do I top up my account with credit? 

You can top up your credit balance by going to the My Account page and clicking on the "top up your credit" button. Upon completing and submitting the relevant details, your credit balance will top up. 

 

Q9. I am a tutor. How do I request transfer of funds to my bank account? 

You can request payment to your bank account by going to the My Account page and clicking on the "Withdraw credits to Paypal account" button. Upon completing and submitting the relevant details, your bank account will be credited with the appropriate payment.
